For example, when it comes to garage flooring, some vendors, such as Ox Floors, use polyaspartic coatings as a base coat without first coating the concrete with a primer. In humid environments like South Florida, this approach is not recommended for concrete floors. Leading polyaspartic manufacturers—including Sherwin-Williams, Sika, PPG, Versaflex, and BASF—recommend applying a primer to concrete before using polyaspartic coatings when epoxy is not used as the base moisture barrier.

Yes. Garage Makeovers is fully insured, and we can provide a certificate of insurance (COI) upon request. We also hold applicable licenses, such as a finishing carpenter license, as required to professionally install garage cabinets, storage systems, and other garage improvement solutions in the areas we serve. This ensures your project is completed safely, correctly, and in compliance with local requirements.
